STORY OF AFSANA

The story of afsana

I started Afsana during my mini thesis project. I was working on a comic book for my display, but with just two weeks left, I had a new idea. I’d always wanted to create a clothing brand because I love making illustration designs on my iPad and enjoy wearing cool clothes. So, I decided to design some jackets for my thesis display.

To my surprise, my designs were a hit. Everyone appreciated my work, including my teachers, some influencers, and even Falak Shabir, who commented on my video. The positive feedback led to several offers for me to design for other clothing brands. However, I decided to go big and launch my own brand, Afsana.

Afsana is all about celebrating our cultural richness through handmade clothes. My first collection featured jackets with block printing and hand embroidery, which sold out quickly. My second collection, inspired by old money styles, also sold out in just three weeks. Now, I’m excited to introduce my third collection, “Don’t Look,” which is live now.
